Ten-year-old IT company Nostra is planning a major expansion over the next few years, with 50 jobs announced in the short term and more to come by 2020.
Lucan-based Nostra has extended its Dublin HQ, completing a full renovation of its 9,000 sq ft facility in time for significant expansion plans.
Currently employing 75 people across the company, the hopes are for a near doubling of numbers by the end of the decade. To speed that along, 50 roles were announced today (18 January).
Recruitment for the new positions will begin immediately and includes roles for computer engineers and sales personnel, who will be required to service recent client wins and support the growth of new international business.
Kevin O’Loughlin, CEO and co-founder of Nostra, said that Enterprise Ireland has helped the company to make this next step.
“Our international business has really taken off and the support from Enterprise Ireland has been a game-changer for us,” he said. “It has helped Nostra to take on new business and create new jobs.”
“We are very focused on reaching our goals and are currently working on building our business in North America and Europe.”
Nostra’s refurbished HQ is in Lucan, with new offices, a 24-hour helpdesk, a state-of-the-art ‘IT Build Room’, boardrooms, meeting rooms, a dedicated field and internal sales team area, and a café.
As part of the current expansion, Enterprise Ireland is supporting the recruitment of export-focused positions in the company.
“Enterprise Ireland’s mission is to partner with innovative Irish businesses looking to scale internationally,” said Enterprise Ireland’s Leo McAdams.
“Nostra is a great example of an Irish internationally traded services company with global ambition, competing and winning sustained business in overseas markets. Enterprise Ireland looks forward to continuing to support Nostra’s growth ambitions as they expand their global footprint, strengthening their customer base internationally and continuing to create jobs here in Ireland.”
