OneLogin, a cloud-based identity access company, has announced plans to open its EMEA headquarters in Dublin and take on 30 recruits in the city.
OneLogin has today (4 December) unveiled its EMEA headquarters in Dublin, with plans to create 30 new roles across a broad range of disciplines.
Founded in 2009 by Danish brothers Thomas and Christian Pedersen, who both previously worked for Zendesk, the cloud-based access management company gives organisations a secure way for employees to access systems and data. It currently employs 300 people across offices in the US, UK, Mexico and Japan.
Elle Lathrop will lead the new Irish team, which will be responsible for driving sales, engineering, and customer services activities across the EMEA region, serving OneLogin clients such as Tesco, NTT Data, Fairfax Media and the British Red Cross.
OneLogin is currently hiring for a number of different positions in Dublin including sales functions, customer success and support functions, technical operations roles, cloud engineering roles and cybersecurity roles. It is also looking for a new European head of sales. Recruitment is underway and some of the positions are already in place.

According to president and chief executive officer of the company, Brad Brooks, Ireland stood out as an ideal choice to set up shop for a number of reasons. His pre-existing knowledge of the Irish business culture and climate, gained through experience working at Juniper Networks and DocuSign, was an influencing factor.
“Ireland has done a very good job of creating an environment where you have a lot of talent to draw from,” Brooks said.
“The university system puts out people who are well-versed in cybersecurity and in cyber-risk understanding, which is unique to our business … Ireland has got a unique situation where there’s a lot of unique talent.”
Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys, TD, added: “I warmly welcome the news that OneLogin will set up their EMEA HQ in Dublin, resulting in the creation of 30 highly skilled jobs. Cybersecurity is an increasingly important sector and Ireland has the talent pool, Government support and academic commitment that encourages companies like OneLogin to join the growing list of global firms coming here.”
