7 US companies hiring in Ireland right now

Happy Thanksgiving! To celebrate the festive season, we’ve rounded up nine American companies that are hiring people in Ireland right now.

Whether you were celebrating Thanksgiving during the week, or just prepping for the mania of Black Friday, we all have America on the brain at the moment.

Holiday season aside, the US has brought some major multinational companies to our shorelines over the past few decades. The best part? A lot of them are hiring in Ireland right now.

We’ve rounded up seven US companies that are currently hiring in Ireland to give you a happy Thanksgiving.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is one of the world’s largest financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small and middle-market businesses, and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services.

Bank of America completed the acquisition of Merrill Lynch in 2009. Its headquarters is in New York and it has two offices in Dublin.

The finance giant is currently looking for various web and software developers, data and operations analysts and client services advisers.

Bristol Myers-Squibb

Bristol-Myers Squibb is an American pharmaceutical company, headquartered in New York City.

The company manufactures prescription pharmaceuticals in several therapeutic areas and is firmly focused on a mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases.

It has been in Ireland for over 50 years and has a new manufacturing facility opening in Cruiserath. The company is looking to fill a number of vacancies, including quality control analysts, maintenance technicians, chemists and maintenance engineers.

Dropbox

File-sharing service Dropbox was founded nearly 10 years ago in the US and opened its Irish office in 2013.

It provides client software for various operating systems and web browsers and was ranked second on the Forbes Cloud 100 list this year.

Dropbox is strongly diverse and inclusive with groups like Women at Dropbox, Latin@s, Black Dropboxers, and Pridebox. It is currently hiring account executives, sales representatives and programme managers in Dublin.

Fidelity Investments

With a 70-year history, Fidelity Investments is one of the oldest companies on our list.

The company, with headquarters in Boston, aims to make financial expertise broadly accessible and effective in helping people live the lives they want.

Fidelity Investments has been in Ireland since 1996, and has a number of vacancies in software development, cybersecurity, UX design and account management.

Intel

Intel is headquartered in Silicon Valley but Ireland is its centre of manufacturing excellence in Europe, with facilities and offices in Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Leixlip.

Intel has been in Ireland for 25 years, with research and manufacturing at its core. It currently has 5,200 employees across the country and is looking for more.

The company is currently looking to fill scientist and research roles, software engineering jobs, and sales representative roles.

KEMP Technologies

KEMP Technologies was founded in 2000 in New York, and in 2010 it opened a European headquarters in Limerick.

KEMP makes some of the best application delivery control technology in the world, which is easily deployable, in real time.

Right now, KEMP is in the market for a junior quality engineer, an instructional designer and various other candidates.

Paypal

The online payments system PayPal was set up in 1998 and has its American headquarters in California.

Its European operations centres in Dundalk and Dublin are important hubs for customer support.

At the moment, PayPal is hiring desktop support technicians, compliance analysts and engineers in both Dublin and Dundalk.
