Dublin tech firm Triangle hiring for 10 new roles

1 Mar 2021

Triangle is looking for new hires in service architecture, service management, technical support and business development.

Triangle, an ICT services provider based in Dublin, is growing its team. The company has recently taken on 10 new staff and plans to hire a further 10 or more this month.

Triangle’s services cover virtualisation, cloud computing and server consolidation, with partners including VMware, IBM and Cisco. The company was founded in 1999 and is based in Ballsbridge. It acquired communications company Kerna in 2018, bringing its total headcount at the time to more than 100.

In 2019, Triangle was recognised at the Tech Excellence Awards for its work with ESB, for which it won Project of the Year in the public sector category. It helped the energy supplier develop a cloud management platform to organise its virtual machines, databases, applications and security more efficiently.

Miriam Byrne, services director at Triangle, said that while the company has experienced strong business overall in the past year, its managed services business has seen growth of 100pc.

“We are seeing significant demand for specialised managed services in critical areas within enterprise environments across all sectors we operate in,” she added.

“Highly skilled people within our managed services teams working closely with our customers IT teams are replacing the more traditional broad outsourcing agreements that were in vogue over the past 10 years. This brings the benefit of expertise and innovation while facilitating agility and ownership within our customers’ businesses.”

New hires at Triangle will be working in service architecture, service management, technical support and business development.

Triangle is just one of a number of companies that announced new tech jobs in Ireland today (1 March). Software integration company SL Controls announced 50 highly skilled positions for systems engineers, project managers and more, while Dublin start-up FoodMarble said it will be hiring for 25 new staff across engineering, design, marketing, sales and customer success.
