More jobs are coming to the mid-west region through UPC Ireland as the company establishes a European Competency Centre in Limerick, opening up 12 new highly skilled IT jobs.
UPC already employs 800 people in Ireland, 400 of which are based in Limerick.
In February, UPC completed a €600,000 investment in its National Customer Contact and Administration Centre in Limerick Enterprise Development Park, and the new centre will develop advanced new software and systems to support UPC’s customer service operations in Ireland and other European countries
The 12 new knowledge-intensive IT jobs include full-time positions for IT managers, technical support leads and IT designers.
This announcement follows news last month that UPC would offer 30 full-time positions to candidates from CCMA Skillnet’s Jobseekers Support Programme.
