An Irish woman’s complaint about the weak tea her parents received in a Marks and Spencer café has gone mega-viral.
Marie Ni Bhroin posted on the retail giant’s Facebook page on Friday last (10 July) explaining how when her elderly parents found the tea they purchased in the Blanchardstown branch of the store’s café to be weak and requested another tea bag they were told they would have to purchase another pot of tea.
Marie was scathing in her criticism of the store and since it was published the post has received (at time of writing) more than 10,000 likes, attracted more than 900 comments and been shared more than 1,700 times.

However, the post, which has been covered by news outlets in both Ireland and the UK, certainly put the frighteners on Marks and Spencer, which has apologised and asked Marie to contact them.
Someone should have told Marks and Spencer to never mess with an Irish person and their tea.
