An Irish website that helps logging on ladies plan the perfect wedding is engaged for a big day of its own at the annual Irish Web Awards.

Mrs2be.ie has announced its selection as finalist in the ‘Best Facebook Page for a Business of Organisation’ category in this year’s Irish Web Awards. The awards ceremony takes place in the Mansion House, Dublin, on 16 October.

“We are very pleased to have been selected for the finals and even to be simply nominated is a fine recognition of the hard work that our team has made over the past number of months,” commented Claire Malone, sales director of mrs2be.ie.

Mrs2b.ie is up against stern competition in the category in the form of mobile phone network Meteor and popular music festival Oxygen.

Established in 2009, Mrs2be.ie contains planning resources to placate busy brides-to-be, such as a discussion forum and a growing collection of wedding-planning and advice articles.
