A fair bit of information already exists about the best times to post content on social media but now a new infographic has taken that material and summed up the top times and days in which to pin, tweet, share and blog.
The infographic published by Fannit.com on Visual.ly provides prime posting times for social networks Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest, and even takes a brief look at when blog posts do best when it comes to attracting readers.
There’s more to the infographic than just times and dates, however. It also includes information on why certain periods are best for social networking (or not). For example, Twitter engagement goes up 30pc on weekends compared to weekdays, so tweet between 1-3pm on weekends for maximum reach, according to the infographic.
