Black Friday is almost upon us, and we’ve been covering it extensively over the last week.

We’ve looked at the best Black Friday deals in Ireland, how to make sure you keep your information safe online on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and we highlighted what bitcoin owners have to look forward to on Bitcoin Black Friday.

The below infographic, created by Carvaka Adult Toys, shows how the increased move to shopping online has impacted on retailers – specifically in the US.

The infographic shows that Walmart had its biggest e-commerce day ever on Cyber Monday last year, while online sales at Target over the course of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in 2014 increased by 40pc from 2013.

The infographic also highlights the growing importance of mobile, with more and more customers accessing websites and making purchases using mobile devices.
