Glanbia Consumer Goods have launched Cook with Avonmore, an Avonmore-branded site which offers recipes and an online food channel.

The site offers 130 recipes for starters, soups, sauces, main courses, desserts and after-dinner coffees.

Recipes can be downloaded and shared through Facebook, Twitter and email, and the site features competitions, newsletters and incentives to take part in polls.

It also has a video channel, with the first programme hosted by Paul Flynn, a chef from the Tannery Cookery School and Restaurant in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.

The episode features three recipes which promote the use of Irish ingredients.

“I am passionately committed to using Irish ingredients in everything I cook because I believe that the quality of Irish-produced foods is hard to beat and it makes a difference in the end dish. This is why I support this Cookwithavonmore.ie initiative,” said Flynn.
