Debs.ie finds a perfect fit with online debs dress comparison store

10 Jul 2012

In a first for Ireland, debs.ie has launched an online debs dress comparison store, featuring more than 1,000 dresses and accessories from online retailers to help debutantes in their search for the perfect outfit.

More than 80 brands feature on the site, with dresses from top names for formal wear, such as Ted Baker, Coast and Debenhams.

Not limited to just dresses, the online catalogue also includes tuxedos, shoes (for both men and women) and accessories, all of which can be searched for by style, colour and size. Once users find a product they like, they will be redirected to the brand’s online store where they can make a purchase.

Debs.ie launched last September and has since been listed as a finalist at the Irish Internet Association’s Net Visionary Awards. Built to be a hub for debs committees, the site helps secondary school students to plan their school’s debs ball, a rite of passage marking the end of second-level education.

Having already established a comparison directory for venues, the site is now expanding to cover more elements of the milestone event.

“We’re delighted to launch our new debs store,” said Keelin Harty, managing director of debs.ie. “It gives debutantes a chance to find everything they need easily and at a fair price.”
