Dublin’s Lord Mayor Mr Naoise Ó Muirí will be at the ready on Twitter tomorrow at the hashtag #AskNaoise, to answer questions from the tweeting public about the Irish capital – or who would win in a lion-duck fight.

Twitter users can tweet their questions to the Lord Mayor about anything happening in Dublin between 3-3.15pm on 15 May. He will respond between 3-4pm.

The Q&A falls under ‘15-15-15: #AskNaoise’ initiative, which the Lord Mayor launched on 15 April. Tomorrow’s event is the second of three planned #AskNaoise Twitter question-and-answer sessions.

Any questions about Dublin are welcome, from whether the Lord Mayor’s residence is really haunted to the expansion of the dublinbikes scheme, as well as some general questions, perhaps.

“Last month’s most unusual question was, ‘Who would win in a fight – one lion-sized duck or two duck-sized lions?’” the Lord Mayor said. “Keep the questions coming.”

‘15-15-15: #AskNaoise’ forms part of Dublin’s Digital Masterplan to develop the capital as a centre of digital excellence and enhance city-citizen engagement.
