Apple is revealing a swathe of new products tonight and John Kennedy, editor of Siliconrepublic.com, is at Apple’s European press event in Berlin. Follow his tweets and join in the conversation right here from 6pm.

A week ago a mysterious invite found its way into the inboxes of journalists around the world, emblazoned with the words ‘It’s been too long.’

Apple will be holding a town hall event for press at its Cupertino, California, campus, as well as a simultaneous press event for European journalists in the German capital.

Apple is expected to reveal new iPad tablet computers, as well as new Mac desktop and laptop devices.

Apple will also use the event to launch the public version of its OS X Yosemite operating system and, who knows, maybe some Apple TV and iPod products.

But as usual, only Apple really knows.
