The latest car pack for Forza Motorsport 4 gives players vehicles from automotive history to collect, customise and drive, including two classic American models – just in time for 4 July celebrations.

Described by its manufacturers as the first American-built import, the 1973 AMC Gremlin X was the US car-maker’s response to Japanese imports and the fuel crisis and comes with a classic Seventies style.

The 1952 Hudson Hornet set stock-car racing win records that stood for decades, and now Forza gamers get to have a go on this historic leader in sports-car racing.

The Best of British classics also feature in the pack: the 1954 Jaguar XK120 with its curvy body and 210hp engine, and the 1956 Lotus Eleven, which was piloted by drivers, such as the great Stirling Moss.

Not quite vintage, but retro Nineties, the pack also comes with the 1995 RUF CTR2 and the 1998 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V600 – a luxury sports car that saw super-low production, with only 56 cars built with this option package.

But it’s not all classic models in the new pack either, with the the 2012 Ascari KZ1R, 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG, 2012 Spyker C8 Aileron, and 2011 McLaren MP4-12C GT3, the race version of the latest McLaren supercar.

The Forza Motorsport 4 July Car Pack is available to download on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 560 Microsoft Points.
