The GAA has launched an official app for Nokia smartphones, offering news and media for upcoming games in the All-Ireland series.
The app includes ticket and venue information for fans, and provides photo galleries for each team.
The GAA Nokia app also features a “player of the month” and “team of the week” feature from GAA.ie voted for by fans.
“We are aware of how involved GAA supporters are with their teams and this new app is just one more way for them to stay up to date with the daily news and events of interest to them before, during and after games,” said Lisa Clancy, director of communications at the GAA.
“GAA supporters at home and around the world can now have minute-to-minute access to the biggest games of the summer or vote on who they think should make the team of the week when it’s all over. We’re delighted to have Nokia on board and the launch of the new GAA app ensures the association and its games are available to those who matter most – our members and supporters,” she said.
The GAA app for Nokia smartphones is available on the Ovi app store.
