Gigglebit is Siliconrepublic’s daily dose of the funny and fantastic in science and tech, to help start your day on a lighter note.

With Gigglebit, we turn the spotlight on humorous and/or amazing content about science and tech, because sometimes the lighter side should be taken seriously, too.

Today, we’d like to introduce Sisters, a web series from The Kloons Viral Studio, digital video-makers based in New York and Los Angeles.

In Sisters, Kloons clan member Nik Kazoura takes conversations he has recorded between his mother and his aunt and re-enacts them with Mitch Lewis, another Kloon, perfectly lip-syncing along to their elders’ chat.

The series has only seen four episodes so far, but each is better than the last.

In episode 4, the humour is dialled up as the two men put the women’s conversation in the context of two workers at mission control in a space agency, with Greg Washburn joining in as Kazoura in this conversation.

I’m sure this is just what it was like at the European Space Agency HQ during all the Rosetta mission action.
