Google Chrome tablet PC revealed in video

2 Feb 2010

A concept video demonstrating what purports to be mock-ups of a Google tablet PC has begun circulating on the internet.

The slick-looking video shows a device substantially larger than the Apple iPad with the user conducting work-style communications.

The video shows a split screen interface where the user cycles through a number of Google screens, including Google Reader.

The operating system on the device appears to be the Chromium open-source suite.

The video will add fuel to the fire that Google is planning to release its own tablet device in the near future.

In November, Google confirmed that its Chrome operating system for netbooks would be ready for consumers by November 2010.
