Heineken has been keeping an eye on the online chatter surrounding the Heineken Cup and has collated tweets about the event into an infographic.
The Heineken Social Tracker will use data from the Twitter chatter to also create visual animations to be projected onto a set in Dublin City Centre the weekend of the final.
Fans can get involved and influence the visual projections by tweeting their support for either team using the hashtag #GETINTHEGAME.
Fans can also stand in front of the structure and ‘kick’ conversions which, if scored, will be converted into tweets for their selected team.
The infographic charts tweets per club hashtag, the top 5 hashtags, the most tweeted player handles, the most retweeted players per club, and timelined spikes on Twitter.
The Heineken Cup Final, which will be between ASM Clermont Auvergne and Toulon, will take place at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on 18 May at 5pm.
