Hit the jackpot: Irish mobile gaming company Dedsert launches new betting game Novaball

12 Aug 2013

Dedsert, the Irish mobile social betting company, has developed and launched a new match and win game called Novaball. The idea of the game is to offer players the chance to win a stg£7m jackpot twice a week, apparently, based on the outcome of the Irish National Lottery draws.

The promotional risk-management company PIMS-SCA is providing Dedsert with prize insurance for Novaball for the biweekly jackpot.

According to Dedsert, which is now hiring, Novaball is both mobile- and web-enabled. This means players of the game can open a new account, or log into their existing account through either channel, and place their bet.

PIMS-SCA will provide prize coverage for both weekly Novaball jackpots. The firm said this means the amounts offered will be consistently bigger than the UK or Irish National Lottery jackpots.

In the UK, PIMS-SCA is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and has more than 26 years of experience in risk management.

The company aims to position itself as a company’s ‘silent partner’, by minimising the financial risk attributed to larger-scale promotions and jackpots.

Mark Kimber, CEO of PIMS-SCA, believes the partnership with Dedsert means that the Sandyford, Co Dublin-based company will be able to entice more customers to try out its product each week.
