Representative body Independent Broadcasters of Ireland (IBI) has launched a new website which it says provides a resource on independent broadcasting in Ireland, as well as live streams of all of its member radio stations.
“The broadcasting landscape has altered significantly and more and more people are listening to their radio online while travelling or at work, “said Scott Williams, chairman of the IBI.
“www.ibireland.ie provides radio listeners with a portal to all 34 national, regional and local radio stations which are members of the IBI. It streamlines access to the airwaves for online listeners as well as providing broadcasters with another channel to reach their target audiences.
“The new website is also a resource for access to information on independent broadcasting in Ireland. Members of the public will be able to access IBI submissions to industry consultations, as well news and information on the sector and individual radio stations.”
