iPad app shows geo-located tweets on map

16 Nov 2010

TweetRadar, a new iPad app that shows you all geo-located tweets on a map has been launched. You can select any location in the world with variable ranges, from a single street to a continental level.

Until recently, Twitter-related apps showed a list of tweets of friends.

The new app from BoonBits TweetRadar has a completely new approach: it focuses on the location and the content of tweets!

TweetRadar 1.1 was released on 6 October 2010. This new version makes it possible to filter the geo-located tweets on keywords.

This way, you can discover where a specific topic is trending or to find out where people are talking about any topic you like.
