Irish social networking site for food lovers www.ifoods.tv has launched a new channel on the internet TV service Joost.

IFoods.tv was launched in August by Irish chef Niall Harbison as an online resource for aspiring cooks.

It features a mix of free and subscription-based video tutorials on cooking and allows users to interact in a social-networking capacity.

“Launching iFoods.tv on Joost will help us to develop the iFoods brand and will ensure our videos reach a substantially larger audience worldwide,” commented iFoods CEO, Sean Fee.

The site has attracted thousands of members since it launched and aims to become the ultimate destination for food lovers worldwide.

Ifoods.tv currently has over 130 free professional video cooking tutorials and a social-networking platform where members can upload their own videos and photos.

The site’s homepage and video play page were recently re-designed with added functionality and information and functionality has also been added to iFoods’ member profiles with personalised profile widgets, individual profile RSS feeds and the ability to embed favourite videos from YouTube.
