Irish website donates medicine to GOAL through online quiz

8 Nov 2010

A new website called thebigtest.ie has been launched, which offers thousands of questions for users to answer. For every correct answer, a tablespoon of food for the developing world will be generated by GOAL.

Launched by Taoiseach Brian Cowen and Galway All-Ireland Captain Ray Silk, the site provides questions and answers on numerous topics, including primary and secondary revision tests, driving theory tests and more.

For every correct answer, a tablespoon of Oral rehydration Solution (ORS) or Plumpy nut will be generated for GOAL in order to raise medication for GOAL’s work in the developing world. It allows users to donate to GOAL without it costing them any money.

The site is sponsored by Galvin for Men and other GOAL supporters. Founder Kieran Coleman and GOAL’s Ronan Scully will also be seeking further sponsors of the site.

It will be updated regularly with further categories and questions will be added over the coming months.

The Big Test is now available for users to answer questions while donating to GOAL for free.
