Kindle grants China access to social not-working websites

Kindle e-Book readers are being snapped up in China’s grey market amid claims that has the ability to bypass the Great Firewall of China.

Although the device is not yet available officially in China, the device is fast becoming a must have for those who wish to access information online that has been censored by the government.

Famously, social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook are blacklisted in the country, leaving China’s 400-million web community members without access to content that has been censored.

A device that would enable users to access these websites would be a hot commodity in China.

Apparently, the 3G Amazon Kindle has the ability to bypass the firewall in place and grant open-ended access to the forbidden websites.
