Qriocity app arrives on Android

16 Jun 2011

Sony has released an app of its cloud-based music service Qriocity for Android devices.

The service is already available on PCs, PlayStation 3 consoles, network-enabled Bravia TVs and Blu-ray players.

Users can either subscribe to a premium account, for €9.99 a month, or a basic account, for €3.99 a month.

Basic members can use the services on multiple devices, sync music across each one and personalise channels.

Premium members get extra features, including the ability to create and edit playlists. They can also access unlimited on-demand playback and additional channels, such as the global top 100.

Qriocity was affected by the PSN hack a few months ago, but has since been brought back online.
