Enterprising estate agents have used a rollercoaster to sell a home

Prospective house buyers in the Netherlands were given a bit of a rollercoaster experience when checking out a potential new home … in a good way.

Let’s face it, how people buy and sell houses hasn’t really changed that much in the last few centuries. Sure, there is the internet, but at the end of the day you still need to check it out for yourself.

Toward the end of last year, enterprising auctioneers working for ABN AMRO came up with a novel way of showing off a potential new property and allowed house buyers to sign up online to check out a property with a built-in rollercoaster.

The endeavour was a virtual hit on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, a master class in viral marketing, and no doubt could set the template for other clever ways of selling properties in a light-hearted kind of way.

Enjoy!
