Should I upload it? A guide to deciding your next Facebook profile pic (infographic)

Cool and natural photos are the best shots to use as Facebook profile photos as they are least likely to annoy or nauseate other users of the social networking site, a new infographic suggests.

The infographic published by Photoworld on Visual.ly provides a flowchart of questions to (cheekily) help a Facebook user choose the optimum profile photo.

The infographic subtly points out some dos and don’ts when it comes to choosing a Facebook profile photo. For example, do not post a profile photo of scenery (“Seriously? Go hang it in a gallery where people will care”) or a shot of an ultrasound of an unborn baby (“WTF!? This isn’t really what Facebook is for”).

Profile photos the infographic gives a thumbs-up to include those that feature an exotic animal, such as a bird of prey, and Instagram shots from a night out – so long as the subject isn’t pulling a duck face.Infographic
