Marie Boran, a journalist with siliconrepublic.com, was last night named Technology Journalist of the Year at the Irish Internet Association and Enterprise Ireland’s annual Net Visionary Awards.

Marie who joined siliconrepublic.com a year and a half ago has been a dynamic presence, bringing fresh insight and a strong aptitude for technology reporting to the table.

There isn’t a form of new and social media that she hasn’t yet embraced, and has always worked hard to push the boundaries further, bringing exciting new people and innovative companies onto the siliconrepublic.com radar.

In her time, she has broken important stories and has written insightful and thought-provoking articles not only on siliconrepublic.com but on our sister titles in print eThursday, Digital Ireland, Knowledge Ireland, Marketing Age, Irish Director and Owner Manager, to name a few.
