For a quick snapshot and comparison of today’s social media leaders – namely, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Tagged, Spotify, Foursquare, Reddit, and Club Penguin – cast your eyes on a new infographic.

In addition to a brief description about each of the social networks, the infographic by Social Jumpstart published on Visual.ly offers five facts on each network: the year it was founded, usage, revenue (if available), number of employees, and other players in their same spaces.

The infographic reveals that Facebook is the granddaddy of them all in terms of usage (850m members), revenue (US$3.7bn), and number of employees (more than 3,000).

Pinterest, however, also stands out. Having only been established in 2010 and employing just 37 people, it has already attracted 10.4m registered users.
