He was appointed head of New Media to the French Prime Minister in 2001.
At the Dublin Web Summit, he joined other well-known faces in European media to discuss coming to grips with social media.
In 2005, he was appointed by the European Commission as head of the European Information Centre. In 2007, he led the web campaign of socialist Presidential candidate Ségolène Royal. In June 2007, Benoit Thieulin and 4 other associates created the ground breaking digital agency La Netscouade.
