A 14-year-old boy is said to have admitted killing a girl (13) that he met through the social networking site Facebook in Lithuania.
The girl, who was from the town of Alytus, had arranged to meet the boy via Facebook, police said.
The boy lives in the capital, Vilnius, which is just outside where the girl’s body was found at a bus stop yesterday.
The boy confessed to the killing, a spokeswoman has said, and if he is found guilty of murder he faces a sentence of up to 10 years.
