A chilling sight - probably the last thing a small bird would see before being attacked by a bird of prey
With one swift talon-punch an Australian eagle has downed an aerial drone from the sky.
In what is pretty much a good depiction of what a small bird sees just before being attacked by an eagle, this video shows a drone being attacked by an Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle.
The bird of prey was probably protecting its chicks and sensed the drone as a threat.
It seems that the eagle escaped unscathed but the drone apparently was downed and fell to the ground.
What is frightening about the attack is how at first the eagle seems so far away and then swoops in swiftly for the kill. Chilling.
