Themed week to raise Web 2.0 awareness

Irish Web 2.0 companies will be showcasing their products and services next week during ‘Web2Ireland Week’.

Web2Ireland Week is the idea of Web2Ireland.org, the organisation representing the Web 2.0 movement in Ireland, and will see various events take place.

On 13 September Irish Web 2.0 companies will demo their products at a Web2Ireland DemoBar at Ely HQ, Hanover Quay, Dublin. The event is hosted by Web2Ireland.org and is sponsored by Microsoft, Ticketsolve and Hosting365.

The companies exhibiting include Mysay, Loudervoice, Glowday, Nubiq, PutPlace, Justroutes, Pixenate, Touristr, Polldaddy and Lukulu. Media partners for the event include Intruders.TV – Ireland, Blognation Ireland and ReadWriteWeb.

Demobar is free to attend.

On 14 September, Web2Ireland hosts an OpenCoffee Club at 9am in the Morrison Hotel, Ormond Hotel, Dublin where entrepreneurs, developers and investors can meet informally and network. The OpenCoffee website is at http://www.opencoffeeclub.org/
