Twitter has released an update for its Android app, making it faster, and included a changed timeline layout.
The timeline’s layout has been changed to introduce a Tweet details page, which can be accessed by clicking on a Tweet.
The feature, already available for Twitter on the iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone 7 makes clicking on links, replying and retweeting easier.
Twitter also has said the app is faster than before. The timeline has been optimised for scrolling, making sifting through tweets that bit speedier.
Other new features include the ability to pull down at the top of your timeline to refresh the app, swiping across a tweet to get more details and the ability to include high-resolution avatars.
The app is available on the Android Market for Android 2.1 devices or higher.
