Still from 'James Franco & Seth Rogen - Bound 3 (Vague)' by Sherley Mondragon on YouTube

We take a look at some of the most-viewed and most-shared videos on the web. This week features a Wrecking Ball remake on Chatroulette, instructions on fighting babies, a disturbingly honest look at Home Alone, and a tribute to Kimye.

About 100 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute, 500 years of video watched on Facebook every day, and more than 700 YouTube videos shared on Twitter each minute, ensuring there is always video trending on the web.

With so much video available for viewing, we take a look at some of the viral videos that have caught our eye this week.

Chatroulette Wrecking Ball

Just when you think we’re done with the Miley Cyrus parodies, Steve Kardynal comes along with a new effort that generates over 49m views in just four days. Kardynal’s recreation of the now instantly recognisable video was performed for an unsuspecting audience of Chatroulette users who are sometimes amused, sometimes horrified at his antics. Most of them have a good laugh, though, and some even sing along.

James Franco and Seth Rogen star in ‘Bound 3’

Kanye West’s latest music video for his track ‘Bound 2’ has caused quite a stir but, best of all, it inspired actors James Franco and Seth Rogen to create a shot-for-shot remake while on the set of their new film. ‘Bound 3’ features Franco as West rapping along to ‘Bound 2’ (uncensored), while Rogen tackles the role of his naked fiancée Kim Kardashian. What would Jeromey-Romey-Romey-Rome think? Jesus wept indeed.

Honest trailer for Home Alone

Screen Junkies’ honest trailer for Christmassy family favourite Home Alone uncovers the disturbing truth of how Kevin McAllister grew up to become Jigsaw, the diabolical serial killer from the Saw franchise. It makes so much sense when you think about it. I blame the parents.

‘I am Spartacus’ Starbucks prank

Improv Everywhere devised a clever prank to take advantage of the way Starbucks will take your name when they take your coffee order. Good thing the guy spelled it out, though, because we all know how often they get it wrong.
