The infographic by CPP.com and published on Visual.ly takes the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessment based on psychologist and psychiatrist Carl Jung’s theory of personality types and applies its possible outcomes to social networks.
The assessment consists of a questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.
When it comes to social networks, then, extroverts tend to flock to Facebook, whereas those with a preference for LinkedIn display a combination of extroversion, intuition and/or thinking personality traits.
