Lady Gaga’s new album ARTPOP will accompany an app that will deliver a “multimedia experience” to fans, the pop star revealed on her Little Monsters social network.

“I’m excited to tell you all that ARTPOP is going to be a multimedia experience that comes in different forms,” Lady Gaga said.

“The most major way to fully immerse yourself in ARTPOP is through the app.”

ARTPOP, which is scheduled to be released in spring 2013, will be available as an iPad, iPhone, mobile and computer-compatible app that will contain “chats, films for every song, extra music, content, Gaga-inspired games, fashion updates, magazines, and more still in the works!” the singer said.

Lady Gaga added she would be able to update the app at any time and would try to make it as interactive as possible.

ARTPOP will also be available as physical and digital albums “which will be unique and different to the app”, said Lady Gaga.
