Arrested Development makes a comeback via Netflix on 26 May

Netflix is betting on the Bluth family, resurrecting cult TV show Arrested Development for a new season arriving next month – and let’s hope it hasn’t made a huge mistake.

The highly anticipated fourth season of Arrested Development starring Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Michael Cera arrives with 15 episodes ready to view all at once from 26 May, at 9.01am IST to be precise.

“Finally, my simple wish for the show is coming true: that it be broadcast every second around the clock to every television, computer or mobile device in existence,” said series creator and executive producer Mitch Hurwitz.

The new season is produced by Imagine TV and 20th Century Fox Television exclusively for Netflix.

Despite attracting a following of die-hard fans and building up quite a trophy case – including six Emmy Awards and Bateman’s Golden Globe – Fox cancelled Arrested Development after three seasons in 2006 due to low ratings. It’s been a long wait, but soon we will finally get to see more of the Bluth family’s antics – and certainly some huge tiny mistakes.
