The publisher of movies and gaming magazine Click has today launched a new entertainment website, ClickOnline.com, and the Click TV show, which promises to feature the latest movie, gaming and gadget news and reviews with many Irish exclusives.
The publisher said it hopes ClickOnline.com will quickly become the home of Irish entertainment. For launch, it has exclusive giveaways with Sony Ericsson and checks out rugby player Gordon D’Arcy’s favourite movies.
The 30-minute Click TV show is produced in partnership with City Channel and will be broadcast on TV every month on that channel, as well as on ClickOnline and also on mobile. The launch episode will cover Sucker Punch, Killing Bono, Thor, Priest, Motorstorm Apocalypse and Duke Nukem Forever.
“While there’s loads of movie, gaming and technology products imported from the US and UK, the Irish consumer was not being very well catered for,” said Click’s editor, Frank O’Grady. “These sectors are no longer the exclusive domain of 20-something males, so our audience is male and female, of all ages, consuming en masse, and we look forward to growing these new Click products in the months ahead.”
