Microsoft closed its E3 press conference in style by rolling out gameplay footage from Gears of War 4, the latest instalment in one of Xbox’s most popular game franchises.
It’s our first glimpse of the forthcoming third-person shooter. This entry in the series is the first to be developed by Black Tusk Studios, with Microsoft tapping the company after purchasing the series from Epic Games. Gears of War 4 – referred to simply as Gears 4 on the E3 stage – is due to be released in time for Christmas, 2016.
