New Jameson Dublin International Film Festival app

4 Feb 2011

Windmill Lane Digital, a new division of Windmill Lane Pictures, has launched the official Jameson Dublin International Film Festival application.

In preparation for the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, Windmill Lane Digital designed and developed the app to create a new way for users to interact with this year’s film festival.

The app that is now available for free from the iTunes Store as well as the Android Market, will allow users to browse all the films and events on offer, read a detailed synopsis and book tickets.

The app also offers a ‘MY JDIFF’ calendar feature that allows users to create a customised itinerary, with reminders for preferred films and events.

Festival goers can also share the films they are attending with friends via Facebook, Twitter, and email, with the app’s ‘SHARE’ function.

The festival presents a programme of more than 110 films from 30 countries worldwide. The festival will include gala screenings, Irish, European and world premieres, after-show parties and big-name public interviews, as well as a chance to meet the filmmakers at panel discussions and Q&A sessions.
