Angry Birds fans, rejoice – the video game’s developer and publisher, Rovio, has released this year’s Easter version of Angry Birds Seasons.

This update for the game, in which angry birds seek vengeance on egg-stealing green pigs, is now available for iOS, Android, Symbian and Palm devices.

In this Easter version, the green pigs sport pink and white bunny ears and players can make their way through 15 new springtime levels.

“If you think St Patrick’s Day was a blast, well, you ain’t seen nothing yet! This episode will again prove that Angry Birds is the most generous update giver of them all!” Rovio said.

Angry Birds Seasons costs US$0.99 on the App Store and is free from Android app stores and the Ovi Store. Players who have already downloaded Angry Birds Seasons will receive the Easter update for free.

The company also announced it will soon launch the “biggest alternate reality game” ever with Angry Birds.

“Be prepared to seek for clues around the world to discover the secrets hidden in Angry Birds Seasons!” Rovio said.
