Samsung’s €9,000 75-inch smart TV comes to Ireland

7 Jan 2013

While we wait for details on Samsung’s newest smart TV to emerge from CES 2013, the 75-inch ES9000 hits Irish retailers today.

The huge LED TV has a slim 7.9mm curved bezel with no visible seams, and rests on a simple square stand. A built-in camera is hidden at the top of the bezel, making it invisible when not in use.

A rose-gold coloured finish has been applied to the whole body of the TV set, giving it a high-quality look, while the display is said to feature rich, optimised colour and detail with higher contrast ratios, deeper blacks and increased brightness.

As a Samsung smart TV, technologies such as Smart Interaction, Smart Content and Smart Evolution are built in. These gives users intuitive control and interactive options and allow them to share content across multiple devices and access the latest hardware and software features to keep their smart TVs up to date.

For now, the Samsung ES9000 is exclusively available at DID Electrical and Harvey Norman stores across Ireland from €8,999. It will also be available soon in Currys and PC World.
