A 15-year-old boy hanged himself after strangling his mother to death following a fight over internet games in the port city of Busan, police in South Korea have said.
Police official Jung Yo-il said the student left a suicide note, in which he said he killed his mother during a row about internet games.
The teen’s younger sister said her brother had been playing violent internet games for the past two to three years, the police official added.
More than 90pc of homes in South Korea have access to broadband internet.
