Twitter launches Answers, a measurement tool for mobile app installs

5 Dec 2014

Twitter has launched a new tool called Answers that allows advertisers to drive cost-effective mobile app installs via Twitter.

Answers is part of Fabric, Twitter’s mobile platform. It provides real-time, optimised app analytics that allow advertisers to measure installs from Twitter.

Earlier this week, Twitter revealed new tools to reduce bullying and harassment on the social network.

Using Answers, app installs via Twitter can be measured by advertisers integrating Fabric into their iOS or Android app and choosing the Crashylitics Kit.

Earlier this year, Twitter launched mobile app promotion, a new way for advertisers to drive cost-effective mobile app installs on Twitter.

“As thousands of advertisers used this product suite, many leveraged our robust ecosystem of mobile measurement partners to gain visibility into their conversion metrics,” said Deepak Rao, product manager, Twitter.

“Over the past few months, we’ve heard tremendous demand for a free, basic solution for measuring app installs on Twitter.

“Today we’re excited to announce that Answers is now available as a free mobile measurement tool for those who want to track promoted and organic app installs driven by Twitter,” Rao said.
