Ubisoft announced the opening date of an exclusive multiplayer beta of ‘Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood’, the tracklist of .’Just Dance 2′ and ‘Michael Jackson The Experience’ and unveiled ‘Fighters Uncaged’ and ‘Combat of Giants Dinasaurs Strike’.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood Beta
The opening date for the PS3 multiplayer beta of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is set for 4 October 2010. In order to get to participate in the beta programme, you will need to pre-order the limited edition PS3 version of the game. This can be ordered in GameStop and also online at Play and Game. The limited edition version will come with a whole range of goodies including two bonus single player maps, two bonus multiplayer characters, the game’s soundtrack, a renaissance collector’s chest, a codex map of Rome, multiplayer character cards and bonus DVDs. The game itself will be out on 19 November 2010 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Ubisoft announced the tracklist of Just Dance 2. It includes over 40 songs, each featuring its own choreography. Some of the songs include Franz Ferdinand’s ‘Take Me Out,’ Rihanna’s ‘SOS’,’The Weathergirl’s ‘It’s Raining Men’,’The Jackson 5’s ‘I Want You Back’ and The Pussycat Dolls’ ‘When I Grow Up’. The first game sold over four million copies and Ubisoft hopes to get gamers dancing again at its launch on 15 October on the Wii.
Michael Jackson The Experience
Ubisoft unveiled some of the songs that will be in Michael Jackson The Experience. Players can sing and dance to some of the King of Pop’s greatest hits, such as ‘Bad’, ‘Beat It’, ‘Billie Jean’, ‘The Earth Song’, ‘The Girl Is Mine’, ‘Who Is It’ and ‘Workin’ Day and Night’. The Xbox 360 version will utilise Kinect, and will use Ubisoft’s Player Projection technology to project the player on-screen, where their body will be tracked so they can see their movements and steps reproduced onscreen. Michael Jackson The Experience will also be available on the PS3, PSP, Wii and on Nintendo DS around the Christmas season of 2010.
Fighters Uncaged is a fighting game that will be available exclusively for Kinect on the Xbox360. It will allow players to take part in fighting competitions and will teach players mixed martial arts techniques. Players can create 70 different strikes from martial arts and can compete in fighting environments such as rooftops, dark alleys, gritty city docks and an abandoned church. Fighter Uncaged will be available worldwide from November 2010.
Combat of Giants Dinosaurs Strike
The latest instalment of the Combat of Giants franchise offers young players the opportunity to control a giant creature and fight against others for survival. Players can choose between 18 different breeds of dinasaurs, including T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Velociraptor and Triceratops. They can also customise their dinosaur with different colours and stripe patterns and can upgrade horns, bone plates, fins and feathers to strengthen their dinosaur. It will be available in November 2010 worldwide on the Wii.
