The US Navy's Blue Angels team flies with high precision in death-defying manoeuvres

Now for something completely different and not at all to do with Christmas – an amazing 360-degree video of US Navy jets flying in formation and within inches of each other.

The death-defying video shows what it’s like to be in the cockpit of these amazing weapons of war repurposed to entertain and delight those on the ground with their aerial acrobatics.

You get to see the perspective and hear the narrative by Captain Tom Frost of the US Navy, commanding officer of Blue Angel 4.

Observe the team fly F/A-18 Hornets inches from each other as they execute breathtaking manoeuvres.

And the beauty of it all is that you can take in the sights in glorious 360 degrees.

What is incredible is the discipline and precision of the crew as they perform manoeuvres at a very low altitude.

Enjoy!
