Publisher CJ Fallon has launched a version of a digital learning programme called Destination Maths, which was developed by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt specifically for Irish primary schools.

This interactive e-learning programme is Irish Maths Curriculum-compliant and works with Fallon’s own Mathemagic series. It is available now for principals, teachers, parents and pupils to sign up for a free 30-day trial.

“In today’s world, primary school children are no strangers to interactive technology. This programme is designed around the math curriculum for all children, from junior infants to sixth class,” said Brian Gilsenan, CEO of CJ Fallon Publishers.

“Destination Maths brings mathematics to life for children and helps them develop fluency in critical skills, maths reasoning, conceptual understanding and problem solving, all through a fun and creative format,” he added.

Niall Maloney, vice-president of strategic alliances and partnerships for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt International Publishers, said Destination Maths was one of its most popular products and has already demonstrated its effectiveness in classrooms all over the world.

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) – formerly known as Riverdeep – created 450 jobs when it established its R&D headquarters in Dublin in 2008.
