Video games in the classroom may seem counterintuitive, but consider games in which students zap cancer cells and engage with strategy and simulations to learn about science and history, for example, and it doesn’t seem so counterintuitive after all. In fact, research shows that educational gaming does help students learn.

An infographic created for takes research findings to illustrate educational gaming in the classroom by breaking down areas such as reasons to bring electronic games into the classroom, how games help kids learn, games used in classrooms, and mobile edu-apps.
