Software Asset Management Ireland (SAMI) has designed a new management system that’s specifically targeted at primary schools. The idea of the new ICT system is to help allow schools to capture and manage data, such as attendance records and student-specific information.
The system itself is called Edvance and SAMI is giving schools the option of trying out the system for a free 30-day trial.
According to the company, school principals and teachers will be able to use the new system to collate information such as test results, timetables, attendance records and information pertaining to students. The system can also be used to create a school website.
Dualta Moore, CEO of SAMI, said that the new version of the Edvance system was created as a result of feedback from schools.
“We are lucky to have a number of innovative schools who have supported and helped shaped the product development,” he said.
